Planning a visit to Diriá National Park
Diriá is reached from Santa Cruz: 12 km of paved road south to Arado and then 6 km of gravel, with a river crossing that is the reason SINAC suggests four-wheel drive. Its draws, in SINAC's words, are the clear pools of the Río En Medio, the Quebrada Basil waterfall, forest trails and birds.
SINAC prints a day rate of $6 for foreigners and ₡600 for nationals, and lists lodging, camping areas, showers and a lunch area. The page prints no opening hours or days, so the planner on this site leaves Diriá out of the day filter and makes no guess.
